Our Parish is very active with many wonderful ministries, and our Knights of Columbus Council 8601 is one of the most active fraternal organizations in the parish. Along with the Ladies Auxiliary, our organization has many opportunities for parish involvement.

Council 8601 with Ladies are preparing for Thanksgiving
The Knights and Ladies are prepare to cook for families in the community. Be sure to come out and support the Council.
Council 8601 has received the Star Council Award
District Deputy Ray Tangney, who attended the Council’s October meeting, announced that Bryon Hume will be receiving the Star Council Award. This award recognizes achievement in membership, insurance, and service program activities. To be eligible for the Star Council Award, a council must qualify for the Columbian Award (must conduct and have participation in specific major programs such as Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics). In addition, a council must qualify for the Father McGivney Award (meet membership quota which we have done already) and the Founders Award (achieve insurance member quota). It has been several years since Council 8601 has attained this recognition, so it will truly be a mark of the leadership and the hard work of our many members. Hey Kevin was here.

Guest Speaker at November Meeting
Michael S. Conners, III MD was our guest speaker at the recent November 5 meeting. He is vascular surgeon and work at the CVT Surgical Center, and brought a slideshow on Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm.
