June 2024 Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER
PRESIDENT – Grace Cazes called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL/NAME TAGS/MONEY BOX FINES
VICE PRESIDENT – Julie Giroir provides the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests are included on this sheet. Name tag collections were $1.00. No guests were recognized. The total amount in the collection box is $310.25
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
RECORDING SECRETARY – Lynn Hitchcock reported that no corrections were received to the May Minutes. President, Grace Cazes approved the Minutes as recorded.
4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS CORRESPONDING
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY – Laura Roshto reports on cards sent, etc. See Attached Report. During Laura’s absence, Grace Cazes read report and noted (2) changes; Pats Coats for Kids changed to Uniforms for Kids and check to Father Michael from $200 to $100.
5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
TREASURER – Eretta Perrien reports expenses and account balance. See Attached Report. The Preliminary Budget for next fiscal year will be approved in August.
6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
JUNE 2024 Community Donation (Fund Satisfied for Year)
Lady of the Month – June Renee Lindsey
M. MANNINO NIFTY 50/50 GAME – Faye Coorpender Winner was Paula Huckabee.
Margaret Mannino Charity Donation - Year End 2024 Ildi Gajda made a motion and Faye Coorpender seconded to donate $300 to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in the name of Margaret Mannino.
Appointment of Parliamentarian for year 2024 – 2025 will be Ildi Gajda
Officer Installation - 6/22/24 after 4:00pm Mass in Church. Renee Lindsey will serve as MC
Any New Business – to be added to next month’s agenda Dues of $10.00 will be due starting July 1.
7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
•KC Adoration Program - if you wish to attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm), please contact Mike Giroir.
