February 2025 Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER
PRESIDENT – Grace Cazes called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL/NAME TAGS
VICE PRESIDENT – Lynn Hitchcock provided the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests were included on this sheet. There were no guests present. A replacement nametag was requested by Diane Legendre.
Lorraine Lauret posed an option to charge $5 for all replacement nametags. The $5 would be added to the nametag collections box that is donated to a charity at year end. Auxiliary to discuss in further detail at next meeting.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
RECORDING SECRETARY – Bethany Sclafani asked if there were any responses from members to November minutes issued via email on 1/24/25. There were no edits, and the minutes were approved as recorded by President, Grace Cazes.
4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY – Laura Roshto reported on cards sent for the months of December, January and February.
5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
TREASURER – In Eretta Perrien’s absence, President Grace Cazes reported on expenses and account balance.

6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
A. Nametag collections - Lynn Hitchcock collected .75 in Julie Giroir’s absence.
B. Updated Roster 2024 – 2025 was shared with members who were asked to remember it is a confidential document.
C. Lady of the Month for February was presented to Geri Palermo.
D. FEBRUARY 2025 Community Donation Ideas - Lorraine Lauret presented a donation request for her Granddaughter, Madeleine Lauret who has become a certified foster parent. Lynn Hitchcock read a letter from Madeleine giving her background and journey to becoming a foster parent, while identifying the needs that she has for the children. A motion to support with a $300 donation was made by Ildi Gajda and seconded by Amy Lawler. It passed unanimously.
E. M. MANNINO NIFTY 50/50 GAME – winner was Cathy Heckman who won $20.
F. Carolyn Gravois asked President Grace Cazes to discuss Media Missionaries in an upcoming meeting. Agenda time will be given at a future meeting.
G. Amy Lawler shared the results of the bake sale as $3,725 and acknowledged each member who worked the Thanks 4 Giving Bake Sale in November with a gift of a red spatula.
H. Amy Lawler presented a request to the members to furnish names of people who work/or have worked for Exxon who may be interested in serving at some of the functions to support the Knights Exxon Program.
7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
• KC Adoration Program - if you wish to attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm), please contact Mike Giroir.
• KC Rosary – 2/1/25 (Lester & Lynn)
8. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Sanctuary House/St. Patrick House: Laura Roshto and Lynn Hitchcock provided an update from delivering Christmas gifts.
B. Fun Things to Do – Amy Lawler asked if there was interest in attending another Angel Studios movie. Members were interested.
