March 2025 Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER
PRESIDENT – Grace Cazes called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL/NAME TAGS
VICE PRESIDENT – Lynn Hitchcock provided the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests were included on this sheet. Toni Tullier was recognized as a guest.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
RECORDING SECRETARY – Bethany Sclafani asked members if there were any edits to February minutes issued via email on 2/28/25. There were none so the minutes were unanimously approved as submitted by President Grace Cazes.
4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY – Laura Roshto reported on cards sent, etc.
5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
TREASURER – Eretta Perrien reported expenses and account balance.

6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
A. Name tag collections we began discussing charities we may want to donate to before the year ends and discussed if we want to wait until next year to have more to donate? Will continue to discuss before year ends in June.
B. Lady of the Month – 2 Ladies were recognized for March. Ildi Gajda for her frequent assistance with cooking events, printer of our Monthly Award Certificates, and serving as Parliamentarian, and Lorraine Lauret for her leadership in organizing the pantry prior to our first fish fry making it easier to do inventory for the KCs.
C.Attendance Award – President Grace Cazes explained that 4 or 5 ladies are still in the running for perfect attendance
D. KC Fish Fry Events – March 7, 21, 28, April 4 & 11. (Family Center) Both tilapia & fried will be offered. $10/plate, those able to work the event should arrive around 4 pm. We will have dine-in and take-out.
E. MARCH 2025 Community Donation Ideas – Mary Lynn Segalla proposed we donate $300 to our seminarian Jeremy Chiasson, it was seconded by Ildi Gajda and passed unanimously. Ildi Gajda proposed we donate $200 to Catholic Community Radio whose fundraiser is next week. Laura Roshto seconded and it passed unanimously.
F. There was a Presentation by Carolyn Gravois (EWTN)
G. M. MANNINO NIFTY 50/50 GAME – Lynn Hitchcock oversaw this in Faye Coorpender’s absence. $15 went to Mike Giroir with the balance added to our nametag box.
H. Officers for 2025 – 2026 Nominations will be in April, Voting in May. Lorraine Lauret will accept nominations for the ballot.
7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
•KC Adoration Program - if you wish to attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm), please contact Mike Giroir.
• KC Rosary – March 8th – Prior to 4:00pm Mass
• Awards Banquet – will be Saturday May 10that Ashley Manor, $25/person. More to come on this.
8. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Sanctuary House/St. Patrick House: there was no update provided at this time by Laura Roshto, Lynn Hitchcock, or Melinda Leblanc
B. Fun Things to Do – Bethany Sclafani recommended movie “The Last Supper” which will be in theaters March 14th.
