OCTOBER MEETING MINUTES
October 3, 2024
1. CALL TO ORDER
PRESIDENT – Grace Cazes calls the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance. (Update on Church Renovations-how this may affect our meetings)
2. ROLL CALL/NAME TAGS
VICE PRESIDENT – Lynn Hitchcock provides the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests are included on this sheet. Liz Nassar, a new member was recognized. New name tag for Liz Nassar will be requested.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
RECORDING SECRETARY – Due to Bethany Sclafani’s absence, Grace Cazes reported on any responses from members to September minutes issued via email on 9/27/24. No corrections or additions were presented. The September Minutes were approved as presented by President Grace Cazes.
4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY – Laura Roshto’s absence, Grace Cazes reported on cards sent, etc. See Attached Report.
5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
TREASURER – Eretta Perrien reports expenses and account balance. See Attached Report.
6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
Name tag collection (Julie Giroir) $.25 was collected.
Lady of the Month - October Paula Huckabee was the recipient
OCTOBER 2024 Community Donation (Eretta Perrien) A motion was made by Ildi Gajda and seconded by Geri Blazek to make a donation of $250 to the Academy of Sacred Heart School in Grand Coteau, LA.
M. MANNINO NIFTY 50/50 GAME – Faye Coorpender - The winner was Mickey Brown.
Any New Business – DUES: ($10) We accept cash or check (made out to: St. Patrick KC Auxiliary)
7. BAKE SALE PLANNING COMMITTEE -UPDATE
Amy Lawler (Chair), (Eretta Perrien, Grace Cazes, Mary Godeaux, Carolyn Gravois, Paula Huckabee) A meeting of the Planning Committee will take place on October 27.
8. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
KC Adoration Program - if you wish to attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm), please contact Mike
Giroir.• Rosary Dates: (Lead Rosary before 4:00pm Mass) 10/12, 11/30
IDF Campaign (Tootsie roll Drive) date set for October 3, 4, 5 (Hi Nabor)
Knights of Columbus Family Day - Date set for Oct 20 after 11:30 Mass- Knights cooking hamburgers/hotdogs/ice cream– Auxiliary to Serve (Event scheduled for 12:30 to 3:00)
